You start in this position, the arms are laid on the floor shaped as an imagined triangle. The hands are not folded, but placed one behind the other.
The crown of the head is placed on the floor, the hands then automatically surround the back of the head. The upper part of the body is raised by 'walking' forward with your feet. Just so far that your body doesn't fall over.
Now comes the moment: the legs are lifted and pulled towards your body to fully raise the upper part of the body. This should be done in an unhurried manner. Balance is held by the increased tension in the arms. If you have got this far, then the rest is easy.

This is the completion of the exercise and can easily be trained to a duration time of 30 minutes. At the beginning you might think your head will become swollen due to blood-congestion, but the vascular system learns fast to regulate this condition. Should you once loose balance, your hands can grab further back rapidly to regain balance. That is why the hands shouldn't be folded, to allow for greater mobility.
