Classical homeopathy

Dr. med. Samuel Hahnemann 1755 - 1843, Vater der Homöopathie Nearly nobody who hasn't any idea of what homeopathy, but usually this knowledge is limited to the aspect that in the highly diluted medicine very little or no active substances can be proven. This lets physicists or the likes think, where there are no active substances in the solution, nothing can work...

Scientific analysis, though, do prove that that water is able to memorise information. If you expose water to sonic waves, it crystallises into different shapes after frost, than before the exposure. Physical analysis showed that water does not swim in an orderless manner, but forms so-called clusters due to electromagnetic coupling. These clusters consist of many molecules and can form different shapes, depending on the oscillation (/ vibration). Every cell of our body also has its own electromagnetic oscillation, which exchanges information in combination with other cells. The healing effect of homeopathy seemingly works on this level, without even having to administer on molecule of the referred substance.

The advantage is obvious:
Holisitic method of treatment, minor side effects!

Biochemistry of Schussler salts

Dr. Wilhelm Schüßler, geb. 21.08.1821, verstorben am 30.03.1898 The doctor Wilhelm Schussler chose the term "biochemistry" in the 19th century for his healing methods, taken from the Greek "bios" = life and "chemistry" = science of the elements. Not to be confused with the biochemistry of biologists and chemists, his is known as biochemistry of Dr. Schuessler
His theory was that arising from a deficiency of mineral substances in the body, sicknesses occur and that by giving back these minerals, healing occurs. As the minerals are introduced only in homeopathic doses (usually D6) some people question how such a slight amount can replace the missing minerals, healing sickness in the process!

Illnesses proceed with an alteration of the cell membrane. The electrolyte balance changes. The homeopathic salts regenerate and regulate the cell membranes.

Added to this, are the fine-substance oscillations of the mineral substances that are necessary for the cells livelihood.

Dr. Schussler has described twelve different salts. In the meantime, a further twelve salts have been added to the mineral therapy, giving 24 in all.

How does the classical homeopathy differ from the biochemistry of Dr. Schussler?

In classical homeopathy the rule of "similarity" applies: e.g. anyone peeling an onion gets 'burning' eyes. The burning in the eyes would be treated with an onion in homeopathic potency.

In the biochemistry of applied salts the salts are homogenous with our metabolism and are used where there is already a deficiency: the salts don't cause an illness to occur in a healthy person. Therefore it is senseless to try out a healthy person for a medication. Just that, though, is the basis of classical homeopathy!

The following four Schussler-salts are indicated as continual therapy in CF:

Nr. 1 Calcium fluoratum D12
Calcium fluoratum (chemically CaF2) is found naturally in the skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, blood vessels and in tooth-enamel. Fluor, along with calcium, builds a scaffolding of minerals, that stabilises and hardens bones and teeth. What has become hardened becomes soft and elastic; what has become soft, becomes hard and elastic:

  • it hardens tooth-enamel, protects against caries and hardens the bones
  • it strengthens ligaments and tendons
  • tightens loose, wrinkled skin after radiation or pregnancy
  • increases the strength of slack tissue and works in this way against oedema
  • works on Ceratin by getting rid of it (Keratolytikum) when the body produces too much, as in dermatitis, skin and nail fungal conditions, proliferating scar tissue, horny and fissured skin.
  • moistens and softens dry and hardened tissue
  • helpful in chronic inflammation with dry, tough secretion
  • where fibrous lung-tissue is present
  • in emphysema and bronchiectasis
  • in osteoporoses and osteomalacia.

Nr.11 Silicea D12:
Silicea (Siliciumdioxide, siliceous earth) is thought to be the oldest healing preparation of mankind. Siliciumdioxide is found in many body-tissues. Silicea acts on the (mesenchym) connective tissue. It builds up the structure of joints, skin, hair, connective tissue and nails and provides stability.
  • stabilises the skin, is a very good builder (collagen component) for nearly all body tissues
  • promotes wound healing
  • moistens tissue (hydrophile action), lends heightened defence, e.g. against infection
  • improves bone growth and regulates calcium metabolism
  • protects against arterio sclerosis and tightens aging skin
  • acts against flatulence and hinders, due to it's capacity for binding toxins, decaying processes in the bowl; pus-forming processes don't have their poisoning effect due to the toxin-binding property
  • stimulates the lymphatic tissue to increased production of phagocytes thus increasing defence

Nr.8 Natrium chloratum D6:
The use of Sodium chloride, our table salt, is too high. According to the biophysicist Peter Ferreira and Dr. Hendel, our table salt has nothing in common with the stone-salt, e.g. Himalaya-salt used long ago. The salt of today is composed Sodium and chlorides, whereas stone-salt has many other components. For every gram of table-salt, 23 times more water is needed in the cells, than with stone salt. The result is "drying-out", as in rheumatic conditions, gout, arthritis, kidney and gall stones, etc.
  • Natrium chloraticum is one of the quickest acting cold remedies in natural-healing science. If you suck a tablet every few minutes when the first symptoms appear, i.e. sneeze, the cold usually is gone within an hour.
(I can only recommend with reservation the recommened dose of Nr 8 Nat. chl. as the ion-defect-canal present in CF may lead to a whole different action).
  • In CF there is a disturbance of the NaCl-Ion-Canal, therefore Dr. Schuessler salts would be the salts of first choice.
  • Regulates the fluid-household, acts as moisture/fluid-distributor
  • Regulates acid-alkaline pH (puffer base)household
  • Regulates cell-excitability.

Nr.23 Natrium bicarbonicum D6:
The Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) acts in the body as an acid puffer. Unfortunately there is a metabolism disturbance of sodium bicarbonate in people with CF. Additionally the problem of a generalised over-acidity is present in CF.
  • regulates acid-alkaline household
  • lessens uric acid formation
  • improves the CO2-expiration in the respiratory tract.

Doses and method of taking:

If not prescribed differently, it is taken: 3x daily 2 tablets, allowed to dissolve in mouth. Children take the half amount. Taken on an empty stomach or at least one hour before or after a meal.

All the above salts can be taken together.

Acute influenza

In an acute infection accompanied by sore throat, etc., it can be recommended to take Ferrum phosphoricum (Nr.3) D12 at the start, every five minutes one tablet until an improvement sets in, later five times 3 tablets daily; Kalium chloratum (Nr.4) D6 every 15 minutes 2 tablets, later five times 3 tabs daily or less, according to state of health.

Chronic inflammation

As chronic inflammation of the bronchi is typical for CF, it is to be recommended, according to the state of ones health, to take up to 2 tabs 3 x daily regularly of Ferrum phosphoricum Nr. 3 and Calium chloratum Nr.4, but should be taken at time differences to the above 4 salts.
